A Living Tribute to Patsy ClineAward winning A Cappella ensemble "Noteworthy" to appear in Marsh Valley January 24th.

BYU’s newest a cappella Ensemble, Noteworthy, will be performing at the Marsh Valley Performing Arts Center on Saturday, January 24th @ 7:00 pm.  Noteworthy comes with an impressive 10 year history or performing and an amazing resume and they are giving Vocal Point a run for their money, Noteworthy contains nine female members whose voices deliver a power packed concert that combines vocal percussion, humor and a tight harmony style that’s all their own.

Noteworthy has appeared on NBC’s hit television show, "The Sing-Off," and have also been crowned the International Championship of Collegiate A capella (ICCA) champions in 2007.   This style of music has been made popular by many of the reality shows on television and feature films such as "Pitch Perfect".

Noteworthy’s varied repertoire includes everything: rock, pop, country, jazz, R&B, spiritual, and other musical styles, which make them a crowd favorite. This nine-female group takes the songs you hear on the radio, retools them, and delivers a new rendition, complete with all the complex instrumentation done entirely with their mouths. Their powerfully, energetic concerts are full of humor and heart, class and charm. Each Noteworthy member displays musical ability, creativity, and stage experience—a combination which adds up to original, skillful, and spirited performances.

Noteworthy has produced 4 cd’s on their own and have been features in NBC Sports and in BYU Magazine.  They are currently under the direction of former Vocal Point member Keith Evans BYU alumni, Esther Yoder, organized Noteworthy in 2003. Noteworthy is managed by BYU Performing Arts Management.
