Taylor Vaifanua |
"With
a love for singing ever
since she could talk, it is
no wonder that at age 15,
Taylor Vaifanua communicates
a song with a warmth and
depth well beyond her years. Her love for music and performing was nurtured while living in Western Samoa for 5 years. During this time, Taylor learned to appreciate the Polynesian lifestyle and found that she had a certain affinity for the music. She performed often with her older sister and cousins, singing and dancing both Island and pop music. Taylor has now released her debut album, produced by Felicia Wolfe. Her credits include work with Amy Grant, Jaci Valasquez, Natalie Grant, Keith Thomas, Alan Jackson, The Taliesin Orchestra, just to name a few. Taylor hopes to reach teens through her musical talents, and hopes that she can be a positive role model for all those she comes in contact with. Rachel Price |
![]() What's a 20-year-old from Nashville, Tennessee doing singing jazz? It's a good question, but one that Rachael Price finds easy to answer. “I appreciate all kinds of music, but jazz hit an inner chord with me at the age of five. I heard Ella Fitzgerald's rendition of The Lady is a Tramp. I didn't understand the lyrics, but I liked the feeling it gave me.”
Rachel's voice is rich and accomplished and it goes without saying, Rachael has more to give.
“Jazz is sincere. It is real. You can convey—tell a story with your voice.” And, Rachael Price is already telling her story. |
